Αφανείς ήρωες

Εσύ που πίνεις τον καφέ σου στο γραφείο, ή στο απέναντι καφέ,

που δυσανασχετείς αν δεν είναι αρκετά ζεστός ή κρύος,

που θες γλυκαντικό στη μύτη του κουταλιού και όχι παραπάνω,

στάσου μια στιγμή και αναλογίσου.

Ποιος φύτεψε τους σπόρους;

Ποιος πότισε το φυτό να μεγαλώσει;

Ποιος το σκάλισε, ποιος όργωσε το χωράφι;

Πόσοι δούλεψαν ολημερίς για τη φροντίδα του;

Πόσα χέρια χρειάστηκαν για τη συγκομιδή;

Και πόσα για το καβούρντισμα των σπόρων και την άλεσή τους;

Αυτών των σπόρων που κάποιοι, λίγοι, πλούτισαν πουλώντας το συσκευασμένο προϊόν,

και έδωσαν "απλόχερα" ένα πιάτο φαγητό σε αυτούς τους πολλούς που μόχθησαν για όλα.

Σκέψου τους αφανείς ήρωες σε Αφρική και Βραζιλία, αλλά και σε κάθε γωνιά του κόσμου,

και πάψε πια. Δείξε σεβασμό και υποκλίσου στην ανωτερότητά τους. Το αξίζουν.
